PIPSTARS Shine at the AMC National Finals 🌟

What a fantastic weekend of pickleball at the AMC National Finals, with an outstanding result for NSW, who were crowned the overall champions after reaching the finals across the 50s, 60s and 70s divisions!

🥈 50s Division — Silver Medal - Congratulations to our PIPSTARS Brian Ho, Barry Gibson, Sue Heard, Nicole Tyzack and Katherine Moller, who represented NSW with great skill, determination and team spirit.

🥇 60s Division — Gold Medal - A huge congratulations to Karey Kettle, Tonia Amy and Jodie Joyce, who played exceptional pickleball throughout the weekend and helped NSW secure the gold medal. Yes! Gold!!!

🥈 70s Division — Silver Medal - Congratulations to Naida Moore and Johnson Tong, who proudly represented NSW and delivered a fantastic performance at this year Nationals.

A special thank you to Janis Meek, Kenya Organ and Jackie Randall, who stepped up and filled in for Tasmania and Victoria. Your contribution was greatly appreciated! The National Finals were a fitting culmination to an incredible AMC journey that began way back in February with Monday night matches. Over the course of the competition, our players completed 10 rounds of matches, followed by the regional playoff at Brush Farm, the NSW State Playoffs in Milperra, and finally the National Finals in Lansvale NSW, where 10 PIPSTARS proudly represented NSW team.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, supported their teammates and helped make this year AMC such a memorable and successful event. Your commitment, enthusiasm and sportsmanship have made this competition truly special. And of course, no PIP event is complete without our very own PIPARAZZI, Julie! Julie was on the sidelines capturing the action, the celebrations, the intensity — and probably a few moments we didn't even realise were happening!

A very special and heartfelt thank you to Rod Brabin and Louise Hayes for their tireless coordination and commitment throughout this year's AMC. From managing the competition week after week to handling the countless details behind the scenes, your dedication, organisation and hard work were instrumental in making the AMC such a successful and enjoyable event for everyone. We truly appreciate everything you have done. We look forward to seeing the AMC grow even bigger and better in 2027!

Congratulations to all our players — and let's go, PIPSTARS!

PIP - Cabravale Interclub Friendly Challenge, August 2026, Brush Farm Park

What a fabulous afternoon of pickleball today at Brush Farm for our interclub friendly challenge with Cabravale Pickleballers. 32 PIPSTARS battled it out against a very strong (and significantly younger) team from Cabravale.

Cabravale were successful overall with strong win and lead in both Division 1 (4.0+ men) and Division 2 (3.5–4.0 men and women). PIP did manage to walk away with a significant win in Division 3 (2.5–3.5 men and women)!!! Yeahhhhhh!!! Congratulations and thank you to all our players for playing so well and in such great spirit. We will get them next time!

Special thanks also to our co-sponsors LVL-UP and Mypickleball. We really appreciate your support.
